Science is like trying to pick out which of many cups has a marble under it. If you don’t find it the first time, you keep looking until you find it.

Religion is like trying to find a bowling ball under a cup. We can logically say that it’s not possible; why does everyone keep looking?

well, i can assume why… because people want the comfort and safety of not having responsibility for their own life.  believing in a god is like getting to be a kid forever… there’s always someone to turn to, someone to watch over us, to supposedly protect us, to ease the fear and uncertainty of death/afterlife.  who wouldn’t want that?  those of us whose minds haven’t yet developed enough logic will continue to pursue this delusion over rationality and reality.  ignorance really is bliss.
